In contrast, the lower the score, the less likely that a person is a psychopath. The higher level of psychopathy may mean that a person may not interested in having an emotional bond with others. Oddly enough, psychopaths would want to be loved.

As with any one of us, psychopaths aim to be loved and cared for. But the love and care from others remain limited because people may stay away from them. This causes sadness.

It is also found that psychopaths are aware of the gap between him/her and the larger world. Such emotional and communication gap may cause dissatisfaction and emotional turmoil. This, in turn, will motivate the psychopath to yearn for more attention and love.

Psychopaths may experience positive emotion but no one really knows if they feel the real happiness as much as the normal people do. This is because there is the only limited number of studies in this area. The noted positive emotion is the function of antisocial acts. Meaning, psychopaths may feel good after killing someone. This positive emotion will reinforce the behavior leading that behavior to reoccur over and over again.
