How has your mental health lately?
Have you been busy? Tired and stressed? If you are a working person, chances are you experience work exhaustion.
But you are not alone. We are all sailing in this life. Some do it smoothly, while others do not.
Life is indeed stressful in many aspects. And we all experience it. But you need to guard your psychological health. It is found in many studies that a simple stress is detrimental not only to your mental health but also in your body.
In case you feel pressured and bombarded with life’s demands, do any of the following:
- Read a book or movie that has good content
- Write a daily journal
- Get involved in your favorite team sport
- Take a 30-minute walk
- Exercise with a friend or alone
- Eat food that you love
- Drink a cup of coffee
- Give yourself a break
- Get rid of social media
- Talk to a friend or other people
- Embrace mother-nature
- Go to the beach for a picnic
- Learn new skills
- Get rid of fast foods
- Make new acquaintances
- Help others
- Ask for help from others if you need to
- Listen to your favorite music
- Have enough sleep
- Get rid of alcohol and smoking
- Watch funny movies or videos
- Practice mindfulness
These things can help you take care of your mental health. To most people, psychological well-being is their less priority.
But the fact is that your mental health is no less than your physical health. They are both important.
Most people don’t realize that their mental health affects their daily functioning. If you are stressed out of something, you cannot make better decisions. As a result, you end up doing the things you do not intend to do.
So guard your mental health. Stay healthy both physically and mentally.
